I’m a New York based art director and photographer. My background is in fine arts, fashion, and digital media.
I grew up in an artistic family and art, music and photography have always been subjects of my interest. Since four years old I have been trying different things to satisfy the urge to learn and create. From art and fashion design to digital media, having photography in the background as a hobby. I studied fashion and interior design for five years, later in 2012 graduated from Hyper Island digital media school, named as the “digital Harvard”. Soon there was this turning point of realization that photography is actually what satisfies me the most - a media through which I can better express the way I feel. Basically, I quit all and focused mainly on photography.
Having a keen eye for details, shapes, light and color, I would describe my work more as sculpting, while still grasping the characters and spontaneous moments that adds dynamics to the images. This allows me to connect with variety of clients, collaborating with New York’s finest creative talents.
As a photo producer and in-house photographer for Hopes&Fears media publication with a very fresh take on the visuals, I worked with amazing artists such as Sebastian Errazuriz, YACH music band, Moon Ribas and others.
In 2016 was invited to design and lead a fine art photography class at TUMO center for creative technologies in Armenia, one of the top innovative schools in the world, where 14 students came to learn to conceptualize and create a body of work with mixed media techniques such as collages, paintings, graphic design, sound, e.t.c to explore their artistic vision, learn about the importance of successful team work, project execution, and presentation.
My main focus is portraiture, still life and fashion. Yet I’m constantly experimenting with new photographic styles.
